Privacy Policy - Tic Tac Toe

Last updated: September 26, 2026

1. Summary

Tic Tac Toe is a tic-tac-toe game. The free version displays ads through Google AdMob and sends diagnostic data to New Relic for performance monitoring. The paid version contains no ads and no AdMob SDK. The game itself is playable offline, but the free version requires internet to load ads and send telemetry.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, address, contacts, photos, files, health information, precise location, or browsing history. None of this information is sent to New Relic or any other third party.

2. Information Collection and Use

The app does not collect personal data directly. The following information is processed by third parties:

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, address, contacts, photos, files, health information, precise location, or browsing history. None of this information is sent to New Relic or any other third party.

3. Use of Information

Information is used exclusively for:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use diagnostic data for advertising.

4. Advertising

The free version displays ads from Google AdMob, in banner format on the main screen and as app-open ads when you return to the app. The Google SDK may collect your device's advertising ID and ad interaction data, per the Google Privacy Policy and the Google advertising policy. Ads may be personalized based on your device and activity in the app.

The paid version of the app contains no ads and no AdMob SDK.

4.1. Performance Monitoring (New Relic)

The app uses the New Relic agent to detect errors, slowdowns, and crashes. The agent is integrated into the app and sends only performance data over the Internet, with encryption (HTTPS) and server certificate validation. See the New Relic Privacy Policy for configuration details.

On your device, the app only calls the agent initialization with the application token. We do not send a user ID, email, name, or any custom attributes: there is no code in the app that associates telemetry with you.

What is sent to New Relic:

This data is used to diagnose failures and slowdowns, and not for advertising or marketing purposes. Performance data stays only in the app's memory while it is open, and is not written to the device's storage.

If you prefer not to send diagnostic telemetry, simply uninstall the app. There is no option to disable the agent within the app.

5. Permissions

The app uses the INTERNET permission solely for loading ads and sending New Relic diagnostic telemetry. The ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission is used to determine network connectivity before attempting to load ads. The app does not request any other permissions.

6. Data Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and follows standard industry security practices. We do not store credentials or personal data on our servers.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not maintain a database of user data. Ad data is retained by the respective advertisers and the Google AdMob network per their policies. Performance data is handled by New Relic per its privacy policy and service privacy notice.

You may reset the Advertising ID, limit tracking on your device, or delete ad data in your device settings. To request deletion of diagnostic data associated with this app, contact us via email in section 11.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The app itself does not use cookies. The Google AdMob SDK may use device identifiers for advertising and analytics purposes, as described in the Google policy linked in section 4. The New Relic agent stores a unique installation identifier generated by itself in the app's preferences, and does not create cookies.

9. Children

This app is not directed at children or adolescents under 13 years of age and we do not knowingly collect data from children. We do not allow personalized advertising to minors under 13.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the app or this page. You are advised to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
